Hey!
We’re Kate and Landon and we’re happy to have you! Here is a little about us-
The first time we met I thought “he’s tall” and Landon thought “she talks a lot.”(We were both right.)
We’ve have been married 8 years and set up camp in Mesa Arizona. We both graduated from BYU Idaho, Landon in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in geology and me in Psychology with a minor in music and theatre. Landon works as an engineer and I work as a design assistant, part time. Landon is an avid outdoorsman (he once talked me into snow camping in -8 degree weather) and I like to follow him with my camera. Landon likes ice cream and I like cake, he likes to dirt bike and I like to run, fiction for me and non-fiction for him, I’m a night owl and he is an early bird, he has an impressive whistle and I know how to yodel, he cooks and I clean.
We started our adoption process after 6 years of marriage. We felt a sudden rush of urgency and worked practically day and night to get certified and put our profile up. We knew that adoption was right for our family. Lula came to our family through the miracle of adoption in December of 2015. She is the light of our lives and every good thing. From the moment we both looked at her, we felt an indescribable bond and love. We knew she was meant to be in our family. She brings us a joy we never knew existed. She is our greatest blessing. We love and are eternally grateful for her birth mother, she is a special and sacred part of our families story and we tell Lula that story often.
We love being parents. It truly is our greatest joy. We would love to add another family member to our wild bunch and we love that our families way of growing is through adoption!
